biography

Born and raised in the UK, Siobhan moved to Canada with her family as a teenager. She has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in drama and is an alumni of CWC's Women in the Director's Chair.

Siobhan is a Vancouver based film and television director. She is a regular director on the award winning CBC/Netflix series Kim's Convenience; has
directed several children's shows including Gabby Duran and The Unsittables, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, and Some Assembly Required. She has also directed television movies for the Lifetime and Hallmark channels.

In 2015 Siobhan produced and directed
her debut feature film 
The Birdwatcher.
The film had it's World Premiere at Whistler Film Festival and it's US Premiere in LA at Dances With Films.  The Birdwatcher was awarded Best Canadian Feature at the Female Eye Film Festival and Best Overall Film, Best Feature, Best Director, Best Lead Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the Indie Gathering International Film Festival in Ohio. In 2016 The Birdwatcher was nominated for 9 Leo Awards including for Best Motion Picture and it picked up a win for Best Director.
